Holy Rosary is home to students from Kindergarten to Grade 8! 

 

Holy Rosary Bell Times

 

Holy Rosary opened its doors to families and students in September of 1955. On Sunday, September 11th, Bishop Ryan blessed and dedicated Holy Rosary Catholic School.  Initially, the 150 students enrolled were accommodated in five or six available classrooms.  Mother St. Mary Joseph of the Loretto Sisters became the school's first Principal and included in her staff of 5 was Mary Primeau who later became a Principal of Holy Rosary Catholic School. 

During this time, Holy Rosary has welcomed the following Principal's to help lead and guide our students. (Dates earlier than 1993 are approximate.)

Parking at Holy Rosary Catholic School 

Holy Rosary STAFF ONLY PARKING is along the wooden fence beside the church.

 

CHURCH PARISHIONER ONLY PARKING is along the side of the church.

 

Parents are to enter the parking lot off Emma Street at the back of Holy Rosary Church.   

 

When parking and walking your child to the gates of the school yard, PARENT PARKING IS ONLY at the back of the church.

 

If you are dropping off your child, you may drive around the front of Holy Rosary church and drop off by the pylons.  THIS IS NOT PARKING AREA.  THIS AREA IS A KISS & RIDE AREA ONLY!

NO PARENT PARKING IS ALLOWED IN FRONT OF THE CHURCH OR ALONG THE SIDE OF THE CHURCH.

 

Emma Street Parking Lot

The small parking lot on Emma Street is for:

  • deliveries to the school;
  • those people with accessibility needs (i.e you have a Ministry of Transportation Issued Accessibility Permit);
  • Drop off/Pick up DURING the School Day (9:10am – 2:45pm)

Before school (Earlier than 9:15am) DROP OFF and after school (Later than 2:30pm) PICK UPs are not to be in this parking lot unless you have an accessibility permit by the Ministry of Transportation.  We do have an additional accessibility bus that will requireS this lot. 

 

Please do not drive in the area that is blocked by the pylons.  This area is for students who are dropped off to walk into the school yard safely.

 

Please remember when picking up and dropping off children, please wait either by the church hall or by the gates to the primary hall. We ask that parents do not enter the playground when picking up and dropping off. 

 

We need everyone’s cooperation with parking to ensure safety.
